 ✨  DMWC Workshop   "Creativity, Craftsmanship, and Sustainable Fashion in Action"

🧵 With joy, smiles, and creative energy, eight dedicated participants continue their journey of pattern making and sewing at Public Room, Skopje, transforming their ideas into unique garments for the final fashion show under the mentorship of Katerina Tosheva. ✂️✨🌿

Following the successful training in 3D fashion modeling, the participants further developed their digital, technical, and creative skills in the spirit of the green agenda and sustainable fashion. Through combining modern technologies with traditional craftsmanship, they are exploring innovative approaches to fashion design while promoting responsible and environmentally conscious practices. 💻♻️

The workshops encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, while also empowering women through practical knowledge and opportunities for future self-employment and entrepreneurship. By learning sustainable production methods, material reuse, and digital fashion tools, the participants are becoming part of a new generation of creative women shaping a more sustainable future in fashion. ✨

🪡 DMWC Final Training Workshop: “3D Skills in Fashion Modelling”

📍 Semos Education, Skopje | 30 April 2026

✨ The final workshop on 3D fashion modelling successfully brought together eight motivated participants who further enhanced their digital and creative competencies while embracing the principles of sustainability and the green agenda.

👗 Fashion creations by designer Irina Tosheva served as the foundation for the digital modelling process, demonstrating how traditional design concepts can be transformed through innovative 3D technologies. By combining craftsmanship, creativity, and digital tools, participants explored new approaches to sustainable fashion design.

💡 Under the mentorship of Nikola Buleski, the participants deepened their knowledge of 3D garment visualization and digital fashion development, gaining valuable practical experience and strengthening their technical skills.

🧵 The learning journey continues with mentor Katerina Tosheva through pattern-making and sewing workshops, where the digitally developed designs will be transformed into finished garments for the final fashion show.

💻🌿 This training contributes to the promotion of sustainable fashion, digital innovation, and women's entrepreneurship, empowering participants with skills that support both personal development and future economic opportunities.

✨ The workshop on 3D garment modeling continued with an advanced and contemporary training session, bringing innovation and creativity into focus. Nine participants—motivated and eager to expand their knowledge—actively engaged in the learning process within the framework of the green agenda.

💡 Building on the knowledge gained over the past year, the participants are now entering a new phase of development. Under the mentorship of Nikola Bulevski – Bule, they are deepening their digital expertise while strengthening their creative approach to fashion design.

👗 Designs by fashion designer Irina Tosheva serve as the foundation for digital modeling, creating a unique fusion between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge 3D technologies. This approach allows participants to reinterpret fashion through a sustainable and innovative lens.

💻🧵 More than just technical training, this workshop represents an important step toward sustainable fashion practices and the creation of new opportunities for women’s entrepreneurship in the digital era.

🌿 By integrating creativity, technology, and sustainability, the participants are shaping a future where fashion is not only expressive, but also responsible and forward-thinking.

This year, the project was enriched with the first-ever 3D Modeling workshop 🖥️🪡

👩‍💻 12 participants selected their designs under expert guidance and modeled them digitally, creating ready-to-use patterns for printing and cutting.

💻 Digital pattern creation & material selection: Participants were introduced to the V-STITCHER software under the mentorship of Nikola Bulevski – Bule.

✨🧵 Cutting and sewing techniques: Led by Katerina Tosheva and assistant Andrijana Pavlovski, participants developed practical skills and created their own finished garments ✂️👗

 

🌟 Outcome: Participants gained both digital and hands-on skills, empowering them to design and create unique clothing pieces.

The workshop takes place in two stages:

  1. Digital Template Creation & Material Selection – participants design and prepare templates for garment production.

  2. Cutting and Sewing Techniques – under the mentorship of Katerina Tosheva and assistant Andrijana Pavlovski, participants develop practical skills in cutting and sewing, culminating in the creation of a finished garment. 

✂️👗Through this process, participants acquire both digital and hands-on skills, enabling them to design and produce their own unique pieces of clothing.

Workshop in Skopje "Cutting and Sewing Techniques" October 2, 2025

 We started with the training in Skopje under the mentorship of Katerina Tosheva

Through these training sessions, the participants will gain practical knowledge of cutting and sewing and will be able to independently create a piece of clothing.

Before this phase, the participants successfully completed the training in digital modeling skills, where they worked with the tools of the V-Stitcher software, under the mentorship of Nikola Bulevski.

The workshops are organized in two stages:

  1. creation of digital templates and selection of materials

  2. cutting and sewing techniques

DMWC Workshops “Digital Skills in Fashion Modeling”, from 4 to 29 September, 2025

Under the mentorship of Nikola Bulevski – Bule, 12 participants had the opportunity to master digital techniques in fashion modeling.

Fashion designer Irina Tosheva Irina Tosheva curated a selection of skirt designs, which were distributed among the participants. During the workshop, they worked on:

  • constructing digital cutting patterns,

  • virtual garment development,

  • testing the completed skirts on avatars,

  • and printing cutting templates as preparation for producing the garments in real life.

Software: V-STITCHER

Basics of the interface and digital modeling tools

Working with patterns and garment simulations

Finalizing the model

Result: a completed digital print-pattern – a step towards modernizing the tailoring process and opening new opportunities for creativity and business.
