Educational Workshops Implemented, 2025

The workshops were conducted in an atmosphere filled with creativity, enthusiasm, smiles, and a strong sense of satisfaction shared by the mentor Irina Toseva, teachers Irena Bojmalieva and Vesna Ristovska, as well as by the participants themselves.
Students actively took part in practical and educational activities related to handicraft and textile skills, gaining new knowledge and experience that encouraged creative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset. Upon completion of the workshops, all participants were awarded certificates of participation in the project, recognizing their dedication and effort.
Once again, the project confirmed the importance of linking education, traditional skills, and contemporary sustainable practices, opening new perspectives for young generations in the textile sector.
Secondary School “Bogdanci” – Participants’ Statements on Their Professional Careers in the Field of Fashion
It is particularly encouraging that some of the participants are already prepared to build their future careers in the fields of design and the green agenda within the textile industry. The training in recycling and reuse of materials is seen by the students as an opportunity for professional development, as well as a personal contribution to sustainable fashion, environmental protection, and the application of circular economy principles.

As part of the project “From Handcraft Skills to Your Own Business”, a series of creative and educational textile dyeing workshops
🧵It were held at the Secondary School “Bogdanci” in Bogdanci, with a special focus on the traditional and contemporary Shibori dyeing technique 🎨.The workshops actively involved students from the textile vocational program, who had the opportunity to learn hands-on methods of textile dyeing, experimenting with folding, binding, and creating unique patterns, while exploring the principles of sustainable fashion and material reuse.
Under the professional mentorship of fashion designer Irina Tosheva, the students gained practical knowledge and creative inspiration for applying handcraft techniques in modern textile and fashion design, with a strong emphasis on developing entrepreneurial thinking, individual creativity, and opportunities for self-employment.
These workshops contributed to bridging traditional handcraft skills with contemporary design practices, encouraging young people to recognize the value of crafts as a foundation for sustainable personal and professional development, as well as a potential pathway toward establishing their own creative businesses.
